Peter Franck works as a judge at the Berlin Court of Appeal (Kammergericht). As a student he became a member of Amnesty International. From 1999 until 2003 he was a member of the board of Amnesty’s German Section. Since the beginning of the nineties he has been responsible for the work of the German Section on Russia. Since 2011 he has been a member of the advisory board of the Marion Dönhoff Foundation that works for a durable international understanding between Germany and the states of Eastern Europe.
