Marjolein is a freelance translator, specialising in Dutch, German and Russian. After completing a BA in German and Russian studies, Marjolein moved to St Petersburg to work as a part-time translator and teacher of English. While there she also studied at the Rimsky Korsakov Conservatoire. On returning to the UK, Marjolein moved into international sales and marketing, responsible for sales into Eastern Europe and Russia. For the last 2 years, Marjolein has been working as a freelance translator, offering services to both corporate clients and smaller SMEs in the areas of corporate communications, sustainability and marketing.
