Professor Bill Bowring’s guest this week on “25 questions” is Natalia Taubina, a prominent Russian human rights activist. Natalia heads the Moscow-based Public Verdict Foundation that provides legal assistance to victims of police abuse and other human rights violations. Eariler in her career she was director of the Russian Research Centre for Human Rights and of the Foundation for Civil Society. She has been awarded Human Rights Watch’s Alison Des Forges Award for Extraordinary Activism and the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for her work. You can view the video on YouTube or below.
