Professor Bill Bowring’s guest this week on “25 Questions” is Vera Vasilieva, a journalist and human rights activist. Vera Vasilieva has written regularly for various outlets for many years on human rights issues, including HRO.org and Radio Svoboda. In particular, she has published two books about the case of Aleksei Pichugin, a former head of security at the Yukos oil company who has now been incarcerated since his arrest in 2003.
